Singing In... Bamford Choir

Singing In... has branched out! Kate set up a choir in her new community of Oughtibridge, Sheffield, having moved over from Manchester in October 2018. Following on from the success of the Oughtibridge Choir, Bamford Choir launched on 6th September 2019. It is open to ANYONE who wants to sing. There won't be any auditions, ever! It doesn't matter if you've been told in the past you can't sing, you absolutely can! Kate is very good at getting people to sing and getting groups to make a great sound.

Singing In... Bamford Choir aim to hold a concert for family and friends once a term.

The Repertoire

The music will be a lovely mixture of pop, folk, jazz, classical and music from around the world. There'll be things you know and things you've never heard before.

The Venue

Moore Memorial Hall, Brentwood Road, Bamford, S33 0AG

Moore Memorial Hall is a lovely space to sing in. There is plenty of natural light, lovely views and lots of ventilated space. It is fully wheelchair accessible and there is on street parking outside.

I'd just like to thank both you and Pete for an absolutely fantastic term from January. I look forward to coming each week - it's such a lovely atmosphere and a really uplifting experience - I don't know how I managed without it before!
